Around forty years ago, Wayne and Nicky Watson were young leaders from the South Coast who helped plant what was then called Fiordland New Life Church here in Te Anau.
After many years of ministry and a season based in Canterbury, they have added to their duties, oversight and pastoral leadership for this church.
We believe you’ll find our people to be a friendly, growing, family‑centred church serving the Te Anau Basin and wider Fiordland community — warmly welcoming locals, visitors, holidaymakers, international tourists, and seasonal workers.
This church is a full member of New Life Churches New Zealand, a Pentecostal Christian movement. Our Pastors are Wayne & Nicky Watson.
Note: The Trust that governs the Te Anau Life Church still carries the original name “Fiordland New Life Church,” and the bank account retains this name as well.
